Three things are working right now on Facebook
#1 Facebook Videos
Right now 3 to 5-minute videos are working really well on Facebook. Here’s the thing, when you add a video to Facebook that’s under five minutes long you will need to add captions to it. People who watch videos on Facebook may not always be in a place where they can listen to the audio from that video.
When you add captions it lets people watch the video and read the captions at the same time so they can understand what’s going on in the video. This way they can still watch and absorb the info even if they are at work, school or watching TV at home.
Keep in mind if your video is less than 5 minutes long, Facebook will now auto generate captions for you however if it is beyond that you must implement yourself.
#2 Unpublished Posts
Unpublished posts are a great way to engage new customers that may not know who you are or know what you do. You can create very aggressive offers and they look just like they came from your Facebook page but nobody who likes your page will be able to see them because they are essentially hidden posts that you can use specifically for advertising the target audience that you want to reach.
#3 Facebook Live
As I mentioned earlier video is great for Facebook advertising but Facebook live can be even better if you are comfortable on video. Facebook Live is an excellent way to get an extra reach on Facebook without having to pay for it.
It’s actually pretty simple when you “publish live” your Facebook page notifies everyone who follows you. You could talk about a certain recipe, what’s going on in your establishment, what new specials you have or simply answer questions. It’s a great way to engage your audience to let them know who you are and what you do.
So don’t be afraid to spend a little bit of money on digital advertising and implement Facebook as a great tool to market your business.
