4 Ways To Incorporate National Pizza Month Into Your Bussiness

October is National Pizza Month, officially designated by Congress in 1978, but many of your customers may not know what National Pizza Month means to them.

In this article, we’ll give you 3 ways to incorporate National Pizza Month into your business.

1. Promote that fact that it’s national pizza month… I know sounds simple,  but I bet many of your customers are not aware that October is national Pizza Month. 

Use it as a way of showing your appreciation to your pizza loving fans by offering some kind of “national pizza month” special only available for the month of October.

2. Donate a portion of your sales to one of the great causes that you find valuable. Let your customers know that on a particular day in October you’ll donate a portion of the sales or 100% of the PROFITS to that charity. 

This is a great way to give back to the community and build your presence as well.

3. Create a contest that your customers can be a part of. Have them take a photo of them enjoying your pizza in a creative way. You pick the most creative one and give away free pizza as the prize.

This is perfect for creating engagement on social. You can also use those customers photos as future content for facebook, Instagram, and snapchat.

4. Teach your customers how to make pizza at home. National Pizza Month is a great time to show off your pizza making skills using video (try facebook live) and teach some of your recipes for your audience to make at home.

Come up with some “take home pizza kits” that your customers can purchase from you and create their own masterpiece.
